Nectarine is a smart, sensitive, and incredibly loving girl who spent a full year in a home, where she truly showed how special she is. She’s potty trained, crate trained, and wonderfully behaved indoors—calm, quiet, and content to relax while her person is away during the workday.
She thrives with gentle, respectful introductions and blossoms quickly to form deep, loyal bonds when she feels safe and understood.
At home, Nectarine is a dream. She enjoys sleeping in after morning walks, lounging on cozy beds or the couch, and entertaining herself with stuffed toys, puzzles, and enrichment activities. She’s incredibly intelligent and eager to learn, already knowing many cues from loving positive-reinforcement training with treats and praise.
On walks, Nectarine prefers calm outings where she can sniff, explore, and move at a comfortable pace. She’s thoughtful, observant, and emotionally attuned to her handler, making her an affectionate, devoted companion.
She rides beautifully in the car, settles easily in new routines, and does best in a quiet, predictable home with a patient, empathetic adopter who values trust and communication. Once she feels secure, Nectarine loves deeply and wholeheartedly—she truly wants nothing more than to be someone’s cherished companion.
Nectarine is a resilient, soulful, loving dog and is a survivor who has learned to trust again through patience and love.
She gives her whole heart once she feels safe — a bright, funny, deeply affectionate girl who will make you laugh every day. With empathy, consistency, and respect, you’ll discover the most loyal and soulful friend imaginable.
For the right person, she will be an unwavering best friend, a cuddle buddy, and a loyal heart by your side!
