Our Dog Foster Marketing Team is responsible for helping fosters spiffy up their foster dogs' profiles with the best photos, videos, and bios. There are various in-person and remote volunteer opportunities.
The Dog Foster Support Team is responsible for supporting fosters through the process of getting their foster dogs adopted, mainly through remote support. It takes a village to provide the support our fosters deserve!
Every day, we have dogs getting adopted from their foster homes, and we'd love some help counseling the new adopter through the adoption and setting them up for success with their new family member!
Some fosters are unable to travel to the TLAC shelter to pick up needed supplies or medication for their foster dogs. If you have reliable transport and can drop things off, please sign up!
We are so grateful for the work our fosters do in getting their foster dogs adopted, and we'd like to celebrate the weekly adoptions and thank our fosters! Join this amazing celebration of dogs finding their forever homes!
We always have mama dogs and puppies at the shelter, and we'd love some help monitoring their health, cleaning, and providing supplemental feedings to the neonates if needed. Talk about a puppy cuddle puddle!
We can't always rely on potential adopters to come to the shelter, so we have to bring our available dogs to them! We have multiple weekly events highlighting our adoptable dogs, and we'd love some in-person help!
Our Dog Foster Care Team is responsible for providing fosters with medical care information, helping them set appointments and understand when routine care items, such as vaccines, are due. Join them!
Our main adoption building is flowing with customers excited to browse the shelter, and we'd love some help with welcoming them in and getting them headed in the right direction! Weekends are the biggest need.
The Adoption Follow Up Team connects with adopters after the animal is adopted from us, ensuring they are provided with the support they need to keep their new family member in the home long term.
Fosters arrive at the shelter to pick up dogs coming from rescue partners between 5:00-6:30 PM. We'd love some dog runners to take them out to the foster parents from their kennels.
If you are able to open up your home to a dog, please come by the shelter so our Matchmakers can find a dog well suited for you. If you aren't able to but have a best dog buddy on campus, consider virtual fostering!
