Attend Our Volunteer Orientation - Volunteers wishing to volunteer in-person will attend an in-person volunteer orientation. Volunteers who will volunteer their time strictly in a remote capacity will complete an online orientation.

Begin Volunteering
Step 1: Complete the Volunteer Application.
Step 2: Pay the onboarding fee. You'll find a link for payment at the end of your application submission or in your “Welcome Message” email. More information on fees and fee waivers can be found below.
Step 3: Watch & Complete the Online Orientation Video & Quiz.
Step 4: Complete an onsite orientation for each location where you plan to volunteer. While you can volunteer at multiple locations, a location-specific orientation may be required before you can begin.
Please note: Registration is mandatory for everyone, whether you are volunteering directly or accompanying a minor.
To help offset the costs of our volunteer program, including t-shirts, volunteer software, and the expenses associated with many training initiatives, we require an Orientation Fee of $30. If the Orientation Fee presents a financial hardship, you may request a waiver by contacting us at [email protected]
We welcome volunteers as young as 12 years old. Volunteers between the ages of 12-15 must submit an application, as well as their parent/legal guardian.
Please follow the steps below if you are between the ages of 12-17.
Step 1- Youth submits an online volunteer application.
Step 2- Youth must complete online volunteer orientation.
Step 3- Youth must provide a completed minor waiver.
Step 4- Youth must complete onsite orientation at the location in which they are volunteering. Parent/legal guardian does not need to be present.
Step 5- Youth may volunteer without a parent/legal guardian
Step 1- Youth and parent/legal guardian must each submit an online volunteer application.
Step 2- Youth and parent/legal guardian must each complete online volunteer orientation.
Step 3- Youth must provide a completed minor waiver.
Step 4- Youth and parent/legal guardian must complete onsite orientation at the location in which they are volunteering prior together prior to volunteering.
Step 5- Youth will need to volunteer with said parent/legal guardian at all times.
