Dimples is the kind of dog who steals your heart quietly. With his soulful eyes and gentle presence, he’s a sensitive, tender-hearted boy who just needs a little time to feel safe, and once he does, his sweetness truly shines.

He’s been making wonderful progress as he settles into a home routine, gaining confidence in ways that feel like big victories for him. New things can be intimidating at first, but with patience and encouragement, Dimples rises to the occasion and seems genuinely proud of himself when he conquers something new. He’s a champion napper who loves cozy spots, lounging on the couch, or curling up on his dog bed while you go about your day.

Dimples forms deep bonds with his people and shows his affection in the softest ways, with gentle tail wags, sweet greetings, and a calm desire to be close. He can be cautious with new people and appreciates a slow, respectful approach, but trust comes with consistency and kindness. On walks, he’s relaxed and social with other dogs, enjoying polite hellos and moving along happily without pulling.

He’s still learning the ropes of home life and does best with supervision, clear routines, and positive reinforcement. Chew toys are a favorite, and he responds well to redirection as he continues to figure things out. A calm, confident canine companion could be a wonderful role model for him and help boost his confidence even more.

Dimples has so much love to give and is blossoming more each day. For someone who believes in going slow, building trust, and celebrating progress, he has the potential to be an incredibly loyal and rewarding companion.

INTERESTED IN FOSTERING?

This pup is currently located at our Town Lake Animal Center (1156 W. Cesar Chavez, but use 1200 Reserve Road for mapping purposes). We'd love to show them off to you! To learn more about them, head in any day between 12:00PM - 6:00PM. We are open 7 days a week! Go to Building B and ask to speak with a Matchmaker about fostering this pup. You will sit down and discuss all we know about them and, if it's a good fit, get to meet them then! Please budget for a wait time unless you arrive right at opening as we cannot dictate walk-in traffic (wait times tend to be highest in the evenings and on weekends). If this pup ends up not being the best fit, we have so many other pups in need that we can suggest for your household on the spot!
