Scooby has been patiently waiting at the shelter in hopes to find a foster or forever home, and during that time, he’s truly grown. With training, love, and consistency, this charming boy has grown into a confident, affectionate companion who’s more than ready to finally have a home—and heart—of his own.

Scooby is joyful, smart, and devoted. He has the perfect mix of adventure and calm—always up for a hike through the trails or a relaxing nap in a patch of sunlight. On leash, he’s a dream: walking calmly by your side, staying focused, and adjusting his pace to yours. Whether it’s exploring new paths or joining you on a car ride, Scooby’s steady energy makes him the perfect adventure buddy.

At home, Scooby is an easygoing gentleman. He’s fully house-trained, quiet, and happy to relax while you go about your day. When you’re away, he naps peacefully between his bed and the couch, waiting patiently for your return. And when you walk through the door—be ready for a joyful greeting and that signature wagging tail that says, “I’m so glad you’re home.”

Scooby’s affectionate side shines through in his favorite moments: soaking up belly rubs and curling up nearby to keep you company. At night, he even has a sweet ritual—checking in on you before heading to bed himself. It’s his gentle way of saying, “I’m here, and I care.”

Scooby would thrive in a household with mature children and adults that appreciates his loyal heart and respects how much he cherishes his personal space and his favorite items. He could live happily with a well-matched dog friend, especially one who shares his calm and friendly nature.

He’s quiet (no barking), travels beautifully in the car, and can stay home alone without stress. To make sure his new family starts off strong, Scooby’s adoption includes free pre-adoption training, helping everyone build trust and connection from day one.

After waiting long enough and working so hard to show what a wonderful dog he is, it’s truly Scooby’s turn—his turn to be loved, to belong, and to wake up each morning knowing he’s finally home.

If you’re searching for a loyal best friend who will fill your days with sunshine and your heart with gratitude, Scooby is ready to meet you—and ready to go home.
