Mindy Marcks was formerly the Chief People Officer at NBG-Home. Previously, Mindy held executive HR roles at Amplify Snack Brands (better known as SkinnyPop!), The Hershey Company, Samsung Electronics America and IBM. Currently taking a break, Mindy is focusing on volunteer work with Austin Pets Alive! And Art From The Streets.
Mindy holds a Master’s degree in Management and Human Resources from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Human Resource Management and International Finance from Louisiana State University.
Mindy discovered Austin Pets Alive! when she moved to Austin in 2018, eventually adopting her dog from APA! and then becoming a lead volunteer with the parvo ICU. Mindy is passionate about the APA! mission and hopes to continue contributing positively to the organization.
