Board Member
Artie Abello has been a resident in Austin off-and-on since 2006. He graduated from Vanderbilt University for his undergrad and University of Texas Medical Branch for his Doctorate. Artie has an extensive background in the Medical field. In addition to being a co-founder of his own company, Artie is also the medical director of a med spa, medical director for a first responder organization, and co-founded a tech startup.
In addition to being a strong supporter of APA! and participating in the YES! Alive campaign. Artie has also founded an animal welfare messaging campaign to help spread awareness about adoption, puppy mills, and spay/neuter. He currently cares for a shepherd/labrador mix named Danielle and six longhorn cattle.
