Friendly, Affectionate, Snuggly

Captain Hook is the lappiest lap cat and the kneadiest biscuit maker! This non-stop cuddle machine keeps the biscuits coming and loves belly rubs. He’ll flip onto his back in your lap so you can pet his plush tummy - possibly the cutest thing ever!

Captain Hook is a friendly and confident boy who resembles a squishy, soft marshmallow that is perfectly darkened on top! His tattered ear is a remnant of rough times living on the streets. Now he is loving every minute of the cushy life in the great indoors.

Captain Hook likes to rub against your legs and will give you the sweetest head butts, loving every minute of sharing affection with you. He adores kids, showing zero hesitation in meeting them and enthusiastically accepting pets from kind little hands.

Captain Hook likes to laze and to love more than playing. However, he is very treat motivated and will entertain the idea of toys if treats are included! When he is separated from his humans he has the most forlorn meow. But, walk in the room and you will be greeted with happy, sing-song chirps.

Captain Hook wants to meet the kitties in his foster home SO bad! However, he is FeLV positive and may only interact with other FeLV positive cats. He would thrive in a household where he receives tons of loving and lap time and would enjoy access to a window for squirrel and bird watching. Captain Hook is so easy to love. A few minutes with this loverboy and you will be hooked! Contact us to schedule a meet and greet!

Captain Hook has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Captain Hook can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
