Affectionate, Chill, Chatty
Skronkly is a happy, calm and social kitty who would love to keep you company! He likes hanging out near his humans, whether at your feet, cuddled up next to you or hanging out in your vicinity. When you get home he is right there ready to greet you, always making you feel like a VIP, and Skronkly will assure you that you are! If guests come over, he will gladly introduce himself and he never fails to charm them with his confidence and sweet, friendly nature.
You don’t have to worry about awkward silences with Skronkly. He keeps the conversation going with cheery meows and enthusiastic chirps. Not only does he talk to people, he absolutely loves chatting it up with birds he sees through the window. And, he is convinced his eekeeks sound exactly like his birdy friends-he's just one of the gang!
Skronkly loves following you from room to room, you are best buddies after all! He’s happy if you pick him up for cuddles. But, he is also fine being left alone. He likes to spend part of his day snoozing in the window. Those warm sunbeams feel so good and it powers him up for evening zoomies! He also enjoys toys, chasing after string and batting around toy mice or wads of paper.
Skronkly likes to know what’s up in the kitchen! He will stand next to you at the counter on his back feet, putting his front paws up to get a better view. He is a tall, big boy with beefy paws and a handsome white coat with the cutest black spots and long black tail. He looks like he’s wearing a little black toupee with a cute side bang. So dashing!
Skronkly is such a mellow, loving boy. He would likely do well with gentle kiddos, especially if they enjoy cuddles and tantalizing kitty conversation! He would be ideal for someone looking for a snuggly companion to keep them company and would likely fit right into a variety of home environments as long as attention and love abound. If Skronkly is the cozy friend you’ve been hoping to find, contact us for an introduction!
Skronkly has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. He can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
