Confident, Cuddly, Churu-Loving

“Very, very sweet cat — 10/10 recommend.” — caretaker

Stratus is a sleek little house panther with a motorboat purr and zero hesitation when it comes to affection. The moment he arrived, he was rubbing against legs, asking for pets, and settling in like he’d always lived there.

This confident guy loves his people. He’ll greet you at the door, trail you from room to room, and happily hop into your lap for snuggles, especially if Churu is involved (fair warning: he will absolutely climb you for it). He’s extremely food-motivated, endlessly affectionate, and always ready to be close.

When he’s not soaking up attention, Stratus enjoys batting around ribbon wands and keeping watch from the windowsill, patiently waiting for his next cuddle session. He’s sweet, social, and full of personality, often the first to pop up for pets, snacks, or both.

Stratus does well with other cats and is currently sharing space with a feline roommate. He’s shown curiosity and confidence when meeting new cat friends and would likely enjoy having a buddy.

If you’re looking for a friendly, affectionate companion who believes cuddles and treats are a lifestyle, Stratus is your guy.

Stratus has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Stratus can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about Stratus’ care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
