We have critical needs at our Town Lake Animal Center that we urgently need to fix in order for our pets to be safe in extreme weather. In the last few years, we’ve faced extreme challenges with winter storms and brutal summer heat waves. We need to be able to keep the pets in our care safe when temperatures drop dangerously low or rise punishingly high, in a shelter that was not built to hold animals through this kind of weather.
